Chiaretto

Riviera del Garda Classico Valtenesi Chiaretto DOC
Groppello, Marzemino and Barbera

In the small town Picedo part of the district Polpenazze del Garda, the vineyards extend over an area of 3.90.00 hectares with a density of 6.500 plants per hectare, trained in simple Guyot with a yield of 70 quintals / ha. The soils are of morainic origin, mainly sandy limestone.
Hand-made harvest, starting from the first decade of September.
After crushing and soft pressing of the grapes, the must is put in terracotta amphorae and tonneaux where the spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place without the use of selected yeasts. After a period of 3/4, months the wine is bottled.

Tasting

Tasting notes

Light salmon pink color. The nose is appealing, gently smoky with light hints of hazelnut, banana, pear and red berries. On the palate it is fine, soft creamy and the final is harmoniously tasteful.
